MoMA, Fellowship
The Museum of Modern Art is seeking a research fellow to support research on Asian art and architecture, with a primary focus on Southeast Asia and its diasporas, for The Museum of Modern Arts’ Contemporary and Modern Art Perspectives (C-MAP) initiative. Led by the chief curator of Media and Performance and the associate curator of Architecture of Design and comprised of MoMA staff members, the Asia group will be concluding research on South Asia and beginning a focus on Southeast Asia, as part of a broader study of the convergence of practices, themes, and discourses in the art of Asia from the 20th-century to the present. Following the direction of the group leaders, and in consultation with International Program staff, the fellow plans, executes, and documents a lively program of seminars featuring international and domestic scholars at MoMA as well as group travel to Southeast Asia.
